Tired of Yahoo 360′s bugginess and uncertain future? Too much trouble to put up your own site? Want friends to see your pictures, but not the general public? Check out Shutterfly Share, which just launched.

I’ve been playing around with it for the past few days and it’s both really simple to get started — it’s two steps to create your site and you can have it ready for visitors quite literally within a few minutes — and really deep in terms of things you can do with. While I’m still working on customizing this site, and will continue to use it for my main blog, I may well keep my photos and videos over at the Shutterfly site I created since they give you a nice way of presenting them — plus if you ever want to order prints, Shutterfly does a really nice job with that.

What’s really nice is that you can either password your site or only let people you invite view it — but it’s still got some of the social-networking features of places like Yahoo 360 (although I haven’t yet put any of them on the site I created).

FYI the annual Drag-a-Thon (12 hours of non-stop drag) charity show is coming up next month. The specific date hasn’t been set, but usually it’s on Father’s Day (which would be June 15th).

Now that I’m not traveling this month, I should get a chance to update the site. But in the meantime, here’s the upcoming shows for May:

• May 17 – Hayes Valley Follies at Marlena’s

• May 23 – Charlie Horse Show at The Cinch

Marcy Playground wanted to buy some jewelry for me, so I went up to the Charlie Horse Show Friday as a civilian and I’d never seen so many sequin queens at The Cinch before! (Yeah, I know, like that’s a bad thing….)

But it was the “Liza and Judy the Second Coming” night — Anna Conda’s apparently gotten over her phobia of show tunes. The strangest act of the night was Mercy Faque doing a Liza cover of “Bohemian Raphosody”! Guess the meds must have been catching up to poor Liza at that point in her career….

BTW, if you live up in San Francisco and are bored on Monday nights, Anna’s started DJing at The Cinch, which has a happy hour from 4-10. Check it out, dahlings…
